Gary reflects on his early childhood years back in England.
He recalls being obsessed by football and going to watch Queens Park Rangers with his Dad. He shares how some of the stars of the day impacted him and how he wanted to emulate what they did.
But Gary spent so much of his childhood in the presence of his world famous uncle Matt Monro. Matt was one of the most well known singers in the 60's and Gary shares what he learnt from being surrounded by so many famous people. He talks about how Matt Monro dealt with fame and always was humble. We also get the bonus of some great behind the scenes stories from that era and what it was like during the rise of Matt's fame.
